Tupelo Community Theatre will hold an organizational meeting to form a Senior Theatre Troop for older performers on August 19^th at 6 p.m. at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Tupelo.  The purpose of the group is offer theatre experiences to people who may have never acted before, others who have performed and want to do it again and those that now have time to explore the world of theatre.  The group is also open to those that want to direct, design sets/lights/sound/costumes, or work backstage as part of a crew.  The troop may explore acting classes, live theatre viewing, play reading, improvisation, storytelling or theatre productions such as readers theatre, short plays, variety shows, plays from life stories of participants, musical theatre, and topics facing seniors, among others.  For more information or if you are unable to attend on this date email 1tct@bellsouth.net or call the TCT office at 662-844-1935.
